Tip of the week 💡 Snack Swap answers to common questions, easy recipes and tips & tricks.
Are you craving something tasty but want to keep it healthy? You can try swapping your usual go-to snacks with satisfying alternatives that still hit the spot. Here are some of my favorites:
- Chips → Air-popped popcorn with a sprinkle of smoked paprika, nutritional yeast or your favorite herbs
- Candy bar → Handful of nuts & dried fruit for that sweet + crunchy combo
- Soda → Sparkling water with a splash of fruit juice, you get that fizz with way less sugar!
- Ice cream → Frozen banana “nice cream” blended with a little plant milk and cocoa powder
- Granola bar → Energy balls made from oats, nut butter, and a touch of maple syrup
- Cookies → Dark chocolate squares & fresh berries for a balanced treat
- Fries → Roasted chickpeas or edamame with a pinch of sea salt and paprika
The good news is that all of these can be meal prepped or done in the moment! Prep a few during the weekend and you're set for a week of healthy snacks.
If you have any questions in mind, feel free to ask below! I'll be answering them in the 'Tip of the Week' section of my newsletter. You can ask more than one if you have a lot on your mind. Let's help each other out! :)

Book Takeaways 📚
A new book or two every month!
This month I read:

|
The Little Book of Hygge by Meik Wiking
|
This is what I have learnt from it:
- Hygge is about creating cozy, safe, and warm atmospheres through simple details like lighting, comfort, and presence.
- It thrives on close social connections, small gatherings, and shared traditions that foster intimacy and belonging.
- Food, drink, clothing, and home design all play a role when they emphasize slowness, warmth, and everyday pleasures.
- At its heart, hygge is a philosophy of happiness rooted in savoring the present, practicing gratitude, and finding joy in the ordinary.

Some of my favorites ❤️ A small collection of things I've been into lately
Read → Okay im going to recommend a cult classic. If you haven't read the Maze Runner series, please do! It's STILL one of my favorite books, I read it recently and it still holds up :')
Watch → Videos on reading critically! It's so important to not passively consume but to think about what we're consuming. I recommend these videos: "how to read critically in the age of bad media literacy" , "How to Read Critically 101" , "remember EVERYTHING YOU READ" all from my favorite creators!
Play → If you're not playing Silksong, get on it asap!! ITS BEAUTIFUL (and so, so hard omg)
Try → Satay Noodles with chestnut mushrooms , my mom found this recipe on facebook (because of course lol) and sent it to me last week. I made this for lunch recently, under 30 minutes, delicious!!
