🌿 Ingredient Prep Hack & Managing Multiple Projects!

Tip of the week 💡
answers to common questions, easy recipes and tips & tricks.

Make your week feel just a tad lighter in the kitchen with a few simple prep hacks! I dont do meal prep because I get bored of the same meals 5 days in a row. I have modified my approach a little, and let me share with you my current must-do’s on a weekend to assure I have yummy healthy food that will last me all week with no boring meals.

  • Chop your veggies. Keep them raw for salads or wraps, or roast/sauté for extra flavor.
  • Marinate your proteins. I like marinating tofu, tempeh and seitan for the week ahead. I also hydrate a big batch of TVP so its ready to cook!
  • Cook your grains and legumes. Rice, quinoa, beans, chickpea, lentils, peas and more can be cooked in a big batch. Even easier if you have an instant pot or similar!
  • Make a sauce or dip. Hummus, tahini dressing, a quick tomato sauce or pesto for instant flavor to any dish and dips are great for snacking!
  • Prep healthy snacks. Cut fruit into cubes, make energy bites, try chia pudding or make trail mix with nuts and dark chocolate. Easy to grab and go.

Mix and match these prepped ingredients throughout the week to create bowls, wraps, salads or any simple grain and protein plate throughout the week! Eating healthy can be effortless too.

Essential Strategies for Managing Multiple Projects Without Getting Overwhelmed

Book Takeaways 📚

A new book every month-ish!

This month I read: Steal Like an Artist by Austin Kleon

This is what I have learnt from it:

  • All creative work builds on what came before. Start collecting inspiration from the sources you love.
  • Start creating before you feel ready, imitate your heroes, and evolve your own unique voice through practice.
  • Pursue side projects! make the works you want to see in the world.
  • Share your work, cultivate supporting relationships and embrace constraints to fue your best creative work.

Some of my favorites ❤️
A small collection of things I've been into lately

Listen → “the desire to be sad: "tragically beautiful" art & romanticizing mental illness” by oliSUNvia on youtube, you just need to listen to this video, you gotta.

Watch → I just recently watched Sherlock Holmes, the 2009 movie with Robert Downey Jr. I loved it! Recommend! Especially since I was a Superwholock girlie in Tumblr back in the day. Brought back memories lol

Try → OBSESSED with sheer black lipstick lately! From this etsy seller , they’re vegan and cruelty free! it looks so pretty!

I'll see you next week!
