🌿 Affirmations for Creativity & Stress-Free Holidays (+Freebie)

Tip of the week 💡 Affirmations for Creativity
answers to common questions, easy recipes and tips & tricks.

This week I caught myself thinking "this isnt good enough" multiple times while working on my writing and artwork. If you have too, lets pause and take a breath. Then, gently reframe it:

“I’m practicing, not performing.”
Creativity is a process, not a test.
“Every draft, sketch, and idea teaches me something.”
Turns the ‘not good enough’ into a learning moment.
“My creativity doesn’t need to impress, it needs to express.”
Art is personal, not performative.
“Perfection isn’t my goal, progress is.”
Grounds you in growth instead of self-judgment
“It’s okay if it’s messy. Messy means I’m making.”
Transforms imperfection into proof of creative life.

Try keeping a note in your workspace where you jot down the phrases you catch yourself saying, and rewrite them with kindness. You’ll start noticing patterns: moments when pressure replaces play, or when fear silences flow.

By the end of the week, you’ll have your own mini list of affirmations, written in your own words :)

If you have any questions in mind, feel free to ask below! I'll be answering them in the 'Tip of the Week' section of my newsletter. You can ask more than one if you have a lot on your mind. Let's help each other out! :)

A small collection of things I've been into lately

Read ameaningoflife.org, its a whole website rather than just one article, I found it while researching for a post and I LOVE their content. I went in for a post, and spent hours looking through their stuff.

WatchBotanist explains stardew Valley plants. Do I need to say more? I found this video randomly and I'm obsessed with this channel, I already study botany in my own time, this video made it a lot more fun!

Play → I recently found this solo rpg journaling game called Koriko, I had no this idea this whole genre existed! I started playing it 2 weeks ago and I DEFINITELY recommend. Its inspired by Kiki's Delivery Service.
