Tip of the week 💡 answers to common questions, easy recipes and tips & tricks.
Daily Breaks!
Even the most creative minds need time to breathe! Daily breaks aren’t lazy, they give you the fuel you need to keep going strong. It is recommended to get up from your desk for a few mins once every hour, however once a day step away from your work completely, 30 minutes or so, to refresh your mind and body.
Things you can do on a daily break:
- Stretch your arms, legs, neck.
- Sip water or tea slowly.
- Step outside. Feel the air. Look at something far away.
- Do a short tidy of your space (your brain will thank you).
- Pet a nearby creature (cat, dog, plushie, no judgment).
- Doodle aimlessly.
- Listen to songs with your eyes closed.
- Flip through a book or zine.
- Sit somewhere different. Even the floor counts.
- Have a snack.
- Cook a meal, bonus points if its a new recipe.
You’ll come back with clearer thoughts and maybe even a spark of unexpected inspiration :)
If you have any questions in mind, feel free to ask below! I'll be answering them in the 'Tip of the Week' section of my newsletter. You can ask more than one if you have a lot on your mind. Let's help each other out! :)

Book Takeaways 📚
A new book every month-ish!
This month I read:
This is what I have learnt from it:
- Wandering is freedom. It’s a quiet rebellion against rigid schedules and the modern digital load. A return to presence, curiosity, and self-trust.
- Spontaneity sparks magic. Breaking from routine invites creativity, unexpected joy, and those rare, expansive “aha” moments!
- Stillness reveals wonder. Wandering sharpens your senses. You start noticing the small, beautiful things (and yourself) in new ways.
- Unplugging is Important. Leave the productivity apps behind. Boredom and quiet are where real thoughts (and creativity) begin.

Behind-The-Scenes 👀 What have I been up to?
Had a fun doodling session this week. Picked up some flowers and small plants at the nursery and sketched a few in my sketchbook. Big bowl of oranges and a chocolate bar on the side, perfect combo.
The rose bush exploded after the rain, so I filled the house with fresh roses. I also grew cat grass, and the cats have already destroyed half of it :’)
Ended the week with a whole wheat Asian-style noodle salad. My family loved it. Recipe coming next week!

Some of my favorites ❤️ A small collection of things I've been into lately
Read → I’ve been reading Circe on my free time, I LOVE the witchy vibes, being in her little cottage tinkering with plants making potions and magic. Speaks to my heart.
Watch → Knives out. My sister and I watched it recently, it will always be one of my favorite movies ever, especially now that Summerween (Halloween in summer, i'm not very patient) is underway.
Play → I snatched Tiny Glade during steam’s summer sale and omg, I’ve been wanting to get it for the LONGEST time. I am obsessed with making little villages!
